The Law Office of Matthew Shrum is delighted to announce the offering of two annual* scholarships of $1,000 each for the benefit of single mothers who wish to continue their education. The scholarships will be paid to defray tuition costs at their chosen school.
The challenges associated with being a single mother can be significant. Childrearing, maintaining their household, and providing for themselves and their child(ren) can be daunting. Those challenges are even greater when the single mother wishes to further her education. Cognizant of those difficulties, we are offering educational scholarships to ease the burden of single motherhood for those whose aspirations include additional educational opportunities.
Description of the Single Mother Scholarships
There are two scholarships being offered annually by the Law Office of Matthew Shrum. Each is in the amount of $1,000. The winners will receive the award for payment of tuition in connection with their enrollment/attendance at a college (including community college), trade school or secondary school. Each winner will have a period of one year from the award date in order to provide to us a tuition invoice from the school of her choice. We will then issue a check payable to the order of the school in the sum of $1,000.
